I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am that they won the World Cup! They have been my team for the past 3 World Cups when I first started watching it. I won't go into detail but yay!! I'm just so excited that they finally did it! I love Iker Casillas!
Haha I'm sort of at loss at what else to say actually. Jason and I are going to take a week off from work in August sometime and do some hardcore cleaning and organising. I'm hoping our little home will be full of prettiness by the end of that week.
A few random things I'd like to do.... Mainly a few creative goals.
Via Ohdeedoh
Make a polaroid heart, maybe on the wall by our staircase.
To make some jewellery. I like making little stud earrings and little locket necklaces.
Make an inspiration journal or make my own journal.

Organise my creative space.
Make a photo/art gallery wall. I can't decide if it should be in the lounge room or my creative room??!
I would also like too....
♥ - Get my sewing machine and try sewing a few items
♥ - Bind my own journal (or take a bookbinding class as well)
♥ - Create more note cards and develop my ideas
♥ - Re learn how to use my letter press
♥ - Cook more from recipe books
♥ - Create more!!
Anyway, that was a bit of a random post. Thanks again for your comments on my other post about my 5 years with Jason. I will get back to you on comments and other things very soon.
I love this post and all your creative goals! An inspiration journal sounds particularly lovely. I have friends who've taken bookbinding classes and would love to do so myself one day. Hope your weekend has been wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of having a week off to be creative and organise. I think a polaroid heart would be very cool.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great list of goals there, Gracie, and all completely attainable too!
ReplyDeleteI took a book-binding class and for a while there I was making beautiful journals and photo albums ALL THE TIME! You'll love it.
Happy Monday! xoxo
sounds perfect Gracie!!
ReplyDeletetime off to refocus and get creative!!! i need to do that and to declutter my messy craft space!!
I actually watched the game (I never, ever watch sports, but this was such a big event...). It was lovely to have a brand-new winner.
ReplyDeleteI love that photograph of the polaroid wall...I want to do something like that.
i've been dying to indulge in some wall art in my bedroom too...but my husband just wont budge :P hope your ideas materialize soon though...
ReplyDeletep.s don't forget to check out my new giveaway contest http://onestylemile.blogspot.com/2010/07/monday-morning-inspiration-giveaway.html
Oh, how lovely to have a week off and get to spend it decorating and organizing! Good for you! XO!
ReplyDeleteCreate more sounds perfect dear! I love the Polaroids idea, I think it will look gorgeous in the end. Photos of desks always inspire me, maybe because I don't have one, nor space to one in my parents house, but as soon as I can start living alone again I'll buy one pretty one and have my little corner or creativity and penpalling :)
ReplyDeleteMuch love and have a great week!

ReplyDeletethat "r" wall with the frames is amazing!
ReplyDeletelovelove this post! it's good to set lots of creative goals for yourself or make a 'to-do creative' list; i do almost every day, haha. polaroid anything, esp. hearts i love, cannot wait to see if/when you make yours! and the creative space thing? geez...always a struggle for me; i'll get it almost perfect and then it'll become a mess again, haha. good luck with the art cluster too! those are always fun. <3 <3

Love your posts like these Gracie where you use such inspiring images to illustrate your lists!
ReplyDeleteMy desk and office space is the one area I never feel is organised enough and one I am always thinking of tweaking.
Look forward to seeing all these creative projects soon.

ohhh! These are fab, I want to make a polaroid heart too :) I reblog everyone I see on tumblr lol. and I love gallery walls.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! I have been thinking about Polaroid Art lately a lot... in fact I did a Polaroid Art blog this morning. lol.
ReplyDeleteSomething I have fantasized about lately... if I were to *ever* get married instead of having a traditional guest book I would have someone take polaroid pics of all the guests and have them sign them :) How cute would that be as a keepsake?!
your list sounds like so much fun....here's to getting all of those things done on your week off!
ReplyDeleteI just love that heart wall art. So sweet! I need to work on my own creative goals list!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog girl! The name is precious! Just searching around for some new fun blogs! I am a follower now! Hope you can come visit! Have a fab day!

Hi Gracie, I love your blog :) It has really inspired me! I thought you might like to know that I have done a creative book/journal making course recently with Adele Outteridge at the West End Studio - which was amazing (not traditional book binding at all)! Let me know if you want more details :)

Love this post! I like the polaroid heart. I stuck a few things that I find inspiring on my wall recently, it cheered me up heaps. :) you always inspire me to do something creative! xx
ReplyDeleteI love the polaroid heart! So cool!
ReplyDeleteI would love to take a week off and organise our house. It really needs it. We have nothing personal up in our house yet, it still looks like we're renting - even though we own it! :/ Maybe I can convince Mr LG to go to Ikea with me this weekend to get some photoframes? Hmm ...
What I would really love is a room all to myself. One that I can use for all my paper crafts. Unfortunately our house only has two bedrooms. Darn mortgages being so expensive, haha!
My sister was a Santa's Helper at Indro. She said it was awesome because she was allowed to paint her nails cool colours and wear funky earrings as part of her uniform (black and white all the time killed her colour mojo, haha). Where were you a Helper?

I love the Spanish football team too .. they were my 2nd team (after the English - i have to have them I guess) but in my heart all along I knew Spain could do it!
ReplyDeleteI too love Iker and also David Villa (woo)
Do you ever get to see real Madrid games?
