What are your recommendations for a DSLR camera? Used more for a hobby than anything else. I was thinking of some kind of Cannon??
Anyway, I do want to get these other cameras, again to play around with photography.

I do think this is quite adorable. And I definitely want to get one of these. Again I know there are other colours that can be purchased.

And this little thing looks amazing. The little videos it captures with that awesome vintage feel and the photos too.
So at the moment these are on my wish list. Any other recommendations are most welcome. I'm only really entering this other world of cameras (besides my digital).
Have a fantastic rest of week!!
I'm wishing with all my might that Santa brings a DSLR!
ReplyDeleteThey make a new wider version of the instax that I just bought and LOVE. It's the perfect camera...

I'm with you. I have my digital and iPhone but I want something a bit nicer to take better quality shots. If you end up getting one, let me know :)
ReplyDeleteI dont know much about camera either but I would love a daina mini after the wonderful photos my friend took of our school reunion. Goodluck!
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about cameras but these look nice. I like the black and turquoise one, if you decide by color. ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE to take pictures and have all those cameras on my wish list, so I can take some cool pictures, especially with the Lomographic FishEye 2. Last year for christmas I got a Canon Powershot SX20 - It's the bridge to a DSLR - I love it and get to take excellent pictures- just as good as I would with a DSLR. Plus it's not crazy heavy like a DSLR - I still want one but this is a great and easy camera to use - Did I mention the quality is excellent : ) and I love my Canon!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck Gracie - and Happy Monday
I am dreaming of getting a Diana. The second looks so fun too.
ReplyDeleteI have a NIkon D90 and love it. I started with the D40 and loved it too I was just ready for more focal points. The best plan is to go to best buy and feel the camera in your hand. Play with the buttons and see the menu's. I have friends that love their Canon's and others like me who the Nikon just fit better in their hands. To each his own but, it is such a fun and exciting hobby. GL
ooopppps meant to write Happy Tuesday : ) Lol
ReplyDeleteoh i need a new one too!!
ReplyDeleteSo this is my experience with dslrs.
ReplyDeleteI bought one because my pop was sick and i decided that since he likes photography then if i bought a camera then we would suddenly be close {hello alyssa making excuses to spend money}. The camera was an olympus something something. It came with photography lessons. I never went for them.
I used the camera a whole 3 times in 5 years.
I had no idea how to use the thing... the battery ran out within an hour of using it... Probably because i was constnatly fiddling trying to work out how to use it haha....
but i have played with canons and they are great (though still have no idea how to use it)
SO point to the story!! If you get one, get some lessons so you know what on earth you are doing with the thing or all the dials and buttons are going to freak you out :)
I would love some of those little cameras :) I love my Nikon D90...it's definitely on the pricier side but gives me tons of room to grow as I learn - plus, I'll have it forever I'm sure! But I think a Canon is also good - and I also think cheaper DSLR's are great for a hobby and really probably not that much different!
ReplyDeleteI definitely use Canon. :) I tried my friend's Nikon but I found the menus and controls confusing. :D
ReplyDeleteIf you have friends with both types of cameras, I suggest asking if you can try them out so you see which feels best for you. Turn it on, check how to navigate menus, take a pic or two, etc. That will help narrow down your search.
i totally feel you.
ReplyDeletei have a prob too, which one to choose - http://lilyrianitravelholic.blogspot.com/2010/10/my-dream-k-x-or-k-r.html
YAY!! please join the DSLR world.. and canon family to be exact!! ;) i think if you want a good start a canon rebel is good.. or i have a canon 50D which is one level up if you think you want to be pretty serious about photography but not spend tooo much money!!
ReplyDeleteI love them all!!! and I;ve been wanting that mini fuji instax since foreverrrrr... :D
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed Santa is especially nice this year and gets you your DSLR, they are so great and amazing quality compared with the digital cameras.
ReplyDeleteI love my Nikon. I got a D80, but about a month later they can out with the D90. I really really enjoy it, its my very first camera ever, and its a great camera for learning with.
ReplyDeletewe love Nikon. Just make sure its a camera that the lenses are changeable. all are not :( I LOVE our instax.
ReplyDeleteI'm stealing your wish list. I already have too many cameras but shh don't tell
ReplyDeleteBright Green Laces
Ooh! I love the last white one!! So unique, I have never seen one like it before.
ReplyDeleteI would like to invite you to join my **Interactive Halloween Party**, come, come, I promise I won't bite, I'm not a vampire... or am I ...? eery music....
I've been wanting a new camera too! And I'm not sure about a camera recommendation! It looks like this one really captured your heart! :)
ReplyDeleteTake the blue and black one. So cute :)
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute x
