Christmas Bon Bon inspiration

Hey lovelies! It's only about a month until Christmas and I realise how much I see need to do. One of my jobs this Christmas is to make the bonbons (of Christmas cracker) for the table.

I really wanted to personalise each one instead of buying them. So here's a bit of inspiration.

I made these ones a few years ago for my girls.

This is what I had put inside
Little Bloom soaps
Pastel gel pens
Tiny handmade envelopes

This year, because I'm making them for the family I was going to try and personalise for each person. So the decorating will depend on who it's for. My ideas on what to put inside...

Tiny jewellery
Via Bloom

Little soaps

Small brooches

Tiny earrings (made by me)

Special friendship bracelets

Tiny sticky notes

Little button/badges

Via Cupcaketree Etsy

Little hand carved stamps
Lindor chocolate balls
A hand written quote
small pens
Cute stickers

I'm sort of at a loss on what to put in a guys bon bon besides gourmet bits of chocolate. But these ideas are more for my girls and for pen pals etc.

Anyway, I've bought my bon bon snaps (that make that bang sound) and I'm deciding on paper and other bits to decorate with. I'm looking forward to making them :)

P.S. Remember to email me gracienne.nancy [at] gmail [dot] com if you would like to get a Christmas card from me!

  12. Oo, your Christmas bonbons/crackers are gorgeous. I've never pulled a Christmas cracker in my life, oddly enough. I guess they're not popular here anymore. Which is sad, 'cause they're cute.
And I love all the tiny stuff - I'm a fan of tiny too, especially jewelry.

  16. I love everything in this post! So much adorable stuff!!

For the boys maybe you could get those finger skate boards and bmx's? KMart and Mr Toys has them. Micro Machines are also popular with my brothers, haha.

  17. I always make Christmas table presents for the family and the men are always the most difficult to buy for. Last year I put a little photo cube inside theirs.

Will love to see yours when they are made. I can't email you from holiday Gracie, it doesn't seem to work, but I will when I get home.
    xx

  18. What fabulous gift ideas, Gracie! I totally understand your loss of what to do for the guys. I'm so bad at buying boy presents. If you come up with something, please let me know!!! Happy holiday preparation to you!
