*A crafty weekend
Just a Minute in September...
Planning... My sis in law Melly's baby shower. She is having a boy so there will be another nephew in the family :)
Dreaming... About having an adventure (overseas would be lovely)
Thinking... About my future letterpress business with my wonderful Laura
Loving... The change in atmosphere and weather. I love the feel of the warmth on my face
Being... A good listener (I think)
Adoring... My work mates. They are awesome and make me love my job
Wanting... To be more creative. I feel like my creative energy is lagging a little
Needing... To answer all my mail. Thank you to everyone who sends me pretty mail. I adore you!
Buying... A new Mac laptop or fancy camera
Betting... With a guy from work. I'm not allowed to cut my hair for the rest of the year! Haa. We'll see how that works out. I have no idea what I win though.
I think I have too many plans at the moment. Another idea I have is to make a mail group. Like a pen pal group where you meet up and write letters. I guess it's like a book club and I'm inspired by the Letter Writers Alliance and the other pen pal groups that have monthly meet ups. It would be so fun to meet up write letters, have a hot chocolate or tea, eat some sweets and talk. Does that sound like a good idea?
Hope you have a fantastic week!
Hehe we posted very similar posts within minutes of each other, great minds think alike. Letter pressing buisness sounds awesome cant wait to hear more!

Oh my--Gracie you would rock at a letterpress business! That's an artform that I'm love to learn, but in a small city like mine there just isn't the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI'm up for another adventure, too. I get wanderlust so, so fast. I wonder if that ever leaves? Hmm. :)
I love your list : )
ReplyDeleteI so love letter press and can't get enough of it.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of a snail mail group that meets up! Yes!

I'm also dreaming about having an adventure - sounds so fun & definitely nice to get away from everything for awhile.
ReplyDeletePeople don't spend enough simple quality time like that. Great idea.

ReplyDeleteYay! Those are all good things, and being a good listener is underrated. I'm sure ALL your friends appreciate you! Congrats on your soon to be new nephew; no doubt he will be as adorable as Micah! :)
ReplyDeletevery cute post!!! hope you're having a great week so far!
ReplyDeletewow, that kind of club sounds awesome.. But I guess that would never be possible here where I live because not so many people write letters here :(
ReplyDeleteI think it is the change of season thing which gets us all wanting to run with too many projects at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a fun-filled month though, hope it is. xx
that sounds like a great idea (and love your pic!) and today i'm feeling like I would like to make nothing but gorgeous letter prints with the original wooden letter presses I picked up at a fair last year! Maybe i will :)

Mail in any form is just love, unless its a bill or junk.
ReplyDeleteWow I bet your hair will get really long, if you win that bet!
ReplyDeleteHope your travel needs are quenched soon and I'm lacking in my creative energy as well, really wanting to create! We can do it.
Melly's having a baby?? Awww congrats to her and Alvin! And of course, to the bubba's aunt Gracie. ((: I'm sure the shower you are planning will be lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking of buying a Macbook, too! Well, I'm definitely buying it, I'm just waiting for enough funds. Hee. I want to get the Macbook Air...
Don't worry, 2011 is coming to an end soon (three months plus!) and you'll be able to cut your hair again. ;) xx
