Tagged with more questions

Thanks again for your wonderful comments. They make me feel so happy!

I have more tagged questions. I will try and do at least two in this post :)

This first lot if is from lovely Cassie. She is so sweet and has such a lovely blog full of gorgeous images. I adore her Tumblr Tuesdays.

1. What book(s) are you currently reading right now?

Alright I'm reading a few YA books because I love them. One is The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan, Withering Tights by Louise Rennison and I'm starting The Handmade Marketplace by Kari Chapin.

2. What is your all time favourite film and why?

Oh this is a hard one as I don't think I have one. There are a lot of movies that are my favourites but I guess I would choose Blood Diamond. I thought about this movie a lot when I first saw it. The whole blood diamond trade (We made sure my rings have certification to say they are not blood diamonds), the father who loves his son no matter what, the wonderful Leonardo Dicaprio (he's amazing in this movie). It also made me realise how blessed I am to live here.

3. Which is your favourite room in your house and what makes it special?

I guess at the moment it's the lounge room. It's where I'm usually during the day. I sit on the lounge and blog, read, eat, create. Plus Jason's computer is here too so it's where we spend most of our time together.

4. Tell us about a childhood holiday you loved.

I think my second trip to the Philippines is quite memorable. My first trip I turned one in the Philippines. The second time round I was seven. I think I enjoyed it because I spent time with my cousins, most of my grandparents were all still alive and I just remember having such a wonderful trip. I even enjoyed the plane trip.

With a few of my cousins. I have a lot more but these are the ones closer to my age.

5. What is the one place that you really want to visit that you haven't been to before

Again there are many places I have been but I would have to say Spain. It's been a country I have wanted to visit for years. For awhile at university I was thinking of doing an exchange there. I really looked into it too. I know that I will absolutely love it when I will one day visit.

6. What is your go-to favourite comfort food

I would say biscuits. Especially if they are chewy with lots of chocolate chips :) Or Tim Tams.

7. What is something fun and inspiring you have seen online lately and would like to share with us all?

There is so much lovely inspiration online. I have recently discovered this lovely tumblr archive, which I found via Anastasia's twitter. Absolutely lovely and dreamy.
Here's an example....

A lot of prettiness here.

Ok I was going to do my other questions but I might do that in my next post. It will be too much to handle for you lovely readers :)

Have a good rest of week full of beauty and inspiration.

P.S. My new site is up but I haven't done much with it yet. My blog will be changing very soon.

A tag and award

I have an award and tag that is long overdue. With the Bathurst trip I will write about it next post. We didn't really do much anyway.

I received this award from the gorgeous and talented Andhari of Insomniac Lolita. It appears that I must answers some questions and pass the award on. Thank you!

1. Who is Your Style Icon?
I've always loved Natalie Portman's style and more recently Emma Watson.

2. Which is your favourite socialite book?
I don't think I've read any socialite book before.

3. Favourite Party Theme?
I have to say masquerade. I've been to a few and it's so much fun to make the masks. Plus there are some gorgeous masks to buy out there.
Made by me on Polyvore.

4. Go to Halloween Costume?
We don't really do Halloween here. But if I must, some type of fairytale character.

5. Extravagance you cannot live without?
My iPhone and Mac. I didn't need to buy a Mac or have an iPhone.

6. Living Person you admire.
My parents. They are the best examples of who I want to be as a person.

7. Greatest Fear(s)
Fear of failure. I think this is really detrimental because it stops me from doing what I want to do.

8. Traits you deplore in yourself
My procrastination and constantly comparing myself to everyone else. Jason says I compare myself way to much.

9. Which talent you would most love to have?
I would love to be one of those people who can whip up anything. For example they need a summer dress so they sew it themselves. They need a scarf so they knit or crochet one. They are going to a party and need a hostess gift so they bake something. I guess if I really worked at it, it might happen someday :)

10. Greatest Achievement?
I think would be getting where I am. Sure I've made plenty of mistakes over the years but I'm proud that I am quite happy with myself and I hope that one day I will truly be who I want to be.

I give this award to... Fashion, Art and Other Fancies, Diana of OneCraftyFox, Erin of Pughs News, Megan of Time After Tea, Jasmine of Lavender's Green, Anastasia of Anastasia Drawing and Dreaming.

And I was tagged by the lovely and sweet Rachael from It's Simple Love. In this tag there are 8 random questions that I must answer, then I must write my own 8 random questions and pass them on :) Thanks!

1. What Band is your "go-to-band" in the car?
I don't actually have a car but in Jason's car we tend to listen to anything kind of sad. That's our go to music for some reason :) There's no band in particular that I can think of...maybe Linkin Park?

2. What is your pet peeve?
I hate lateness. Being quite punctual myself I get really agitated when someone is late (and they don't msg to say they will be).

3. Who is your celebrity crush?
Ahh this changes all the time. I guess at the moment Sam Worthington, he is so typically Aussie. And for some weird reason I have a Draco Malfoy thing going on so I would say Tom Felton (I've been in the weirdest Harry Potter mood) and he's so nice in interviews. And I think I will always like Leo DiCaprio. Girl crush is also my style icons Natalie Portman and Emma Watson.

4. How would your friends describe you?
Ahh happy, thoughtful and sweet? Hopefully creative, friendly and loyal too :)

5. Where is the furthest place you have been?
Not too far. I guess the Philippines would be the furthest place I've been. I haven't travelled much yet.

6. What's the most important thing in a friendship to you?
Trust and being able to just hang out and have fun without feeling like I have to be someone else.

7. If you could change your name what would it be?
Hmm...never really thought about it. I did rename myself Graciana at one point :)

8. Unibrow or mustache if you had to have one?
I would choose the unibrow lol

I will pass this tag to... Jasmine of Lavender's Green (An award and tag for my new good bloggy friend), Joana of Ecological Storyteller, Caroline of Coeur de La, Sierra of Ocean Dreams, Mara of M Loves M, Alely of Oh Sweetlee Me, Amy of Junghwa by Amy Stewart, Belen of Belen:Beh-LEHN

My questions for you
1. What's your favourite fairytale?
2. Do you prefer Mac or PC?
3. How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
4. Heels or flats?
5. What's your biggest dream?
6. Your favourite book character?
7. Are you the type of person who keeps their feelings inside or lets it out?
8. Who is your role model?

You girls are all lovely! Have a great rest of week. It's Game One with State of Origin (rugby league) tonight. Queensland vs. New South Wales. If you live in either of these states you will understand how big this is. I have to admit I'm a fence sitter. Born in NSW but moved to QLD at such a young age I don't really feel any loyalty for NSW but technically I should be going for them :)

Questions Answered Part 1

Via Tumblr
Hello lovelies!

Thanks for your questions. I might have to split this post into two because some of the questions are more in depth.

Since quite a few of the questions were similar...(how did I know Jason is the one) I thought I would write about that next post. Along with how we met and the proposal. They are all linked together anyway :)

Ok question answering time....

I bet your so excited!!!

Here is a question... what flavour is your wedding cake going to be?

and what is one thing you want to accomplish in the next year?

xxx

* We are having cupcakes for our wedding cake with a little cake for cutting on the top. The flavour will be chocolate with white whipped butter cream icing and vanilla with white chocolate ganache icing with a touch of pink fairy floss on top of the white chocolate.

* One thing I want to accomplish this year is to embrace my creativity and really utilise what skills I have. Maybe to really concentrate on my Etsy shop :)

Two questions-

What have you disliked the most about wedding/what's been the hardest part?

What are you looking forward to most about being married?

* I have disliked trying to find a venue. It was one of the first things I did and it was hard to find a place that was beautiful but still within budget. One of the hardest parts for me was finding a bridesmaid dresses. I had a particular look and colour but couldn't quite find it so I had to compromise on my initial idea. It turned out fine though :)

* I'm looking forward most to spending the rest of my life with my best friend. I look forward to travelling together and just sharing some amazing moments together.

Do you guys plan to have kids in the near future?
Did you ever taste real maple syrup? ;)
What is Jason biggest flaw?
What's going to be blue?

* We plan to have kids but not in the very near future. Maybe another 2 years. We don't think we would be ready for the responsibility of having children plus we are too selfish at the moment to want to put all our attention on them :p

* I think I've tasted real maple syrup. My dad brought back a few small bottles from Canada when he went there. So I'm sure I've tasted it :)

* Hmm...Jason's biggest flaw... Haha I think being a procrastinator. It's one of mine biggest flaws too so its not always good with the two of us. Sometimes we are too laid back. But when he does put his mind to it he gets things done but sometimes he can put almost too much pressure on himself to achieve....e.g. Yesterday he got up early to do some swimming training...then work...then gym...then work...then he signed up for a 6.6km run (approx 4.1 miles). All because he wants to be super fit.

* I'm not actually following the Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue...I'm not even doing a bouquet toss or wearing a garter. So nothing blue...

I might have joined your blog too late, and perhaps you already shared this... but how did you and Jason meet?

And what song are you walking down the aisle too?

* I'll answer the first question next post :)

* The song I'm walking down the aisle to is called The Quest. It's just piano music and it's from a Moccona coffee ad. Link to YouTube video if you're interested. It does have to be on repeat though because it's such a short song.

I don't know if you've already mentioned this but...where are you going on your honeymoon?

* We are going up to Hamilton Island in Queensland. It's in the Great Barrier Reef and it's an absolutely stunning location. Our room is right on the beach. You basically just have to step off the terrace and there is the beach.

So that's it. I will be answering the other questions in the next post. If there is anything else you'd like to ask go ahead :) Thanks again for the comments and questions and for being interested.

The next bit will be the more mushy stuff. lol. But I'm not a super mushy girl so it's not going to be so sweet you feel like puking. Not that there is anything wrong with the overly sweet, I'm just not as into it :)

Have a lovely rest of week!
