For a little laugh

Hey lovelies, thanks so much for all your well wishes for the job. Unfortunately I didn't get it :( But it's alright because neither did at least 30+ other girls. So I'm in good company. 

I just had to show this little video of my nephew Caeleb. He's playing with Jason's iPhone. I know what he says sounds a little funny coming from this 6 year old's mouth (he was nearly 6 in the video, we went to my parents house for an early celebration for his birthday last week).

And don't mind my laugh. I burst out laughing and since I was filming it came out a little loud. He was explaining this game that he was playing called Doodle Jump. It's a cute little video and he's wearing his MasterChef apron and hat he got as part of his birthday present. He likes to cook :) Oh and that that noise you hear at the beginning that's just Caeleb. 

So enjoy this Monday morning. 

The randomness of Monday

Hello lovely people! When Monday rolls around I always feel all over the place. A few things to mention.

It was supposed to be our week of organisation last week but it didn't really happen. My cousin and her hubby were here for a few days from America so we spent those days with them. By then we got a bit lazy and didn't do much. I did start cleaning my creative space though. At the moment it's a mess because I have all these boxes full of memories and I'm sorting through it and trying to decide what to do with it all. Leave them in boxes or put them in a journal??

We did get go to the Sunshine coast with the fam to show my cousin and her husband where my brother Alvin and his wife Melly are moving back to.

Considering it's still winter it got quite warm that day. I decided to see how cold the water was.

It was still freezing but the warmth of the sun was lovely.

I can't wait for when we can go to the beach all the time. I miss our warmer weather. That was a lovely taste of summer.

Anyway, a few things I have to do this week...

♥ Finish and send my letter for the Dear Darlings pen pal project.

♥ Send some postcards for Postcrossing (I need to find some good ones)

♥ Package up some stud earrings for a giveaway (I'm not sure if I can mention where it's happening yet)

♥ Start on my journal with Jasmine

♥ Put my mixed cd's together Bianca's cd swap.

♥ Continue cleaning and organising

♥ Purchase more Hunger Games merchandise (and prepare myself for the release of Mockingjay next week!!!!)

♥ Put my giveaway for the blog together

♥ Plan our overseas trip (hopefully - more about that later)

♥ Work on my Just Because You're Lovely Swap which you have until Wednesday (18th) to still join. I've already put all the participants into a spreadsheet so far and have started matching people up. I'm seriously trying my best to match you with the right people :)

Feet Love and randomness

This is my nephew, Caeleb and his new shoes we bought him. They look so big on him because of his little legs :)

I thought I would add this little picture. It's from about 2 years ago and Jason was showing Caeleb how to tie his shoelaces. He was about 3 here. They were sitting on the floor at church :)

This is what my desk looks like at the moment. It's an assortment of letters and packages that need to be put together and sent out.

This is our new lounge and the new coffee table we just bought on the weekend. I spend much of my time on this lounge, blogging, reading, writing letters and eating.

As I decorate more I will post more pictures of the house. A few things we are thinking of getting.

It's actually a chest of drawers but we are going to use it as a buffet and put it under the staircase.

And I would love to this shaded chandelier for our lounge room. We have a sloped ceiling and part of it is quite high and we thought a chandelier would be perfect. But at the moment it's more a want than a need so most likely won't be getting it for awhile :(

One day I will do a post about how I would like to decorate our home and other inspirations. This might be my last post of the week because starting tomorrow it will be a week of wedding activities for my brother and his fiance.

Wedding week includes...hens night, family dinner, rehearsal and wedding day on Saturday. I hope the weather holds out! There will be fun times I'm sure.
