I love mail

* Hoping that we get our townhouse - more about this next time*

It's another random post today. Some days I have no idea what to write about. I thought I would share my love for mail and letters.

As I've mentioned countless times, I adore receiving letters and mail. I love to send it too. It brings me such joy to make up and send out a little package. This is why I love pen pals. And my recent love for Postcrossing. I decided I now collect postcards.

The happiness and excitement I fee when I look in the mailbox and find a letter is hard to contain. I sometimes squeal and do a little dance. Reading a handwritten letter and knowing someone took the time to sit down and write is just lovely. For me writing letters and putting together a little package together makes happy, especially when I imagine the other person receiving it knowing they appreciate it. I want to keep the art of writing and letters alive which I why I like having pen pals. Does anyone else like receiving mail.

Anyway here is an assortment of letter inspired photos.

I hope you liked my little post on mail and hope that you all see the loveliness that is mail. Have a wonderful rest of week.

  12. Snail mail is wonderful! There's always something special when someone puts in the extra effort to write something out for you. I have a whole bucket (yes, a pink, fluffy Princess bucket) full of cards/letters/crafty stuff I've received. I love looking through them and reading what my friends wrote to me years back. It's sad that people hardly do that anymore. We sometimes get too lazy. You're right, musn't let this be a dying art!

Yippie! I can't wait to receive your letter, Gracie! (:
