Today I thought I would share my random purchases and photography. I played around with iPhoto with some of the pictures.
These first few are from last weekend when we went up to the Sunshine Coast.
This is the view from my brother's place. The beach is only about 5 minutes away from where he lives. Walking distance definitely.
There were some people sky diving onto the beach. It was so fascinating to watch as they floated down.
Jase and me trying to take a photo. It was a lovely day.
As I mentioned last post we had some gelato after the beach. This is my brother Alvin and his fiancee Melly. Too bad you can't really see the beautiful sunset in the background.
I took this photo on my iPhone then used Poladroid. This was the inside of the gelato place. I took the photo from outside. The flavours were so yummy.
I bought this journal and stickers from Kikki.K . I haven't decided when I'm going to start using it. Maybe after the wedding to document the first year.
I love Hershey's Kisses. One of my playing around with camera and iPhoto pictures.
I bought those Twilight journals in a tin that have just come out.
They are quite nice the journals. I kind of hate how hyped up this series is. I loved it way before all the psycho fan girls (though I can't say that I'm not a bit of a fan girl myself :p)
This is my collection. I have both Vicki Archer's books and Carla Coulson's books too. She took the photos in all these books. These books are gorgeous!
Anyway, I should get back to. Lots of things to do today. Poor Jason is completely swamped at work. He's been working back late and going in early. I haven't seen him all week! Plus some friends of his convinced him to participate in a mini triathlon. So he's going to have to start training with them, which means swimming twice a week, going for runs and a bike ride. Plus Jase goes to the gym 3 times a week with 2 sessions with a personal trainer plus he has indoor soccer. Gah! I need to get back into exercise.
Have a wonderful weekend lovelies! And thanks for all the comments. You're all so fantastic.
the pic of you guys is very nice, you really look like you enjoy every minute together.
ReplyDeleteI'm really fascinated by journals... and stationary.. and such! I love those little stores that sell all sorts of it! And Twilight... <3 I'm quite the fan myself, although not psycho.
ReplyDeleteDressing up for halloween is pretty fun! You should come here one year for it :) Where are you located?
I just dropped in to say I'm going to smoke JS in the triathlon. The humiliation on his face when he finishes behind me will be delicious to me; I will be nourished by his suffering.
ReplyDeleteyou and me both girl! i need to get my butt to a gym very soon :) i agree with the twilight hype. i enjoyed it so much before it became so populer. but i guess i was just an obsessed girl before everyone else became one too :) i hope jason and you get to spend some time together. josh has been super busy at work, but of course he's in new york and im in north carolina so it's probably better we both keep busy. have a great day tomorrow girl. <3!
ReplyDeleteAwwww such wonderful photos! :) They're great, Gracie! I love the 365 journal. Your brother and his fiancee look so cute together, as do you and Jason! A triathlon? Gahhh! Makes me feel guilty for skipping out on my routine jog last week. Tee hee.
ReplyDeleteHershey's Kisses are the best! Especially the cookies and cream ones. Have a great rest of the week, love! <3
xx
p/s: don't you worry about the letter! take your time - i understand that you're busy. (:
Just fantastic photo's Gracie - I love the one of my the skydiver; it reminds me our favourite holiday destination in Turkey where they come down all day long and at times the sky seems full! Also adore the 365 journal - the first year of marriage idea sounds fab. Take care xx
ReplyDeletelove the photos!
ReplyDeleteI am insanely in love with Kikki.k!!
Great photos and wow those journals... nice!
ReplyDeleteGracie these pictures are amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's such a fabulous idea to document your first year of wedded bliss!
ReplyDeletegracie, thanks for your supportive and wonderfully sweet comment on my blog. :) yes, it seems likely that i will end up in UQ! hahaha. i'm serious. anyway, not all of Cecelia Ahern's novels are fantastic (I find some rather boring, though I still read them) but i highly recommend "Where Rainbows End". it's my personal favourite, and one of my favourite chick lit novels of all time. i think it trumps "P/S: I Love You" any day!
ReplyDeleteThe pic of you and Jason is lovely. Your brother and his fiancee look so cute too xx Love the stationery.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!!
ReplyDeleteI love collecting journals and pretty stationary. Those journals look so lovely and I think documenting your 1st year of marriage is a wonderful idea.
Thank you so much Gracie for all your prayers and well wishes on my blog! I'm sorry I couldn't keep up online these past few weeks, but I'm finally on the road to recovery :)
ReplyDeleteLook at how much you have had going on lately! I love the bridesmaid dresses you picked!! Just beautiful! Very Grecian and flowing and feminine. And I'm so sorry you had such a bad day at work that one day. I sincerely hope things are going better for you now! You are a lovely person and deserve to have nice things happen to you, not icky, stressful things.
I'm not familiar with Vicky Archer's work, but you are really making me want to go check it out. Her blog is lovely!!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the sunshine coast! x
