Elijah's 1st Birthday

Hello lovely people. I guess I went on an unintentional blog break. My poor Macbook air's power cord died and I was unable to blog for a bit. But I have a few catch up posts to do.

My youngest nephew Elijah's birthday is two days before mine. This was from his 1st birthday party and it was Sesame Street themed. 

His cake that my sister in law Melly made! It was delicious. And my other sister in law Gem made the cupcakes surrounding the cake.

My hair is still longish and I haven't had my fringe cut yet. I'm also wearing a vintage dress I bought from Megan's shop.  

He loved licking my cup because he could taste the sweetness of the drink. 

I'm not sure if my brother Alvin is having a Lion King moment here. 

I love seeing babies walk around and explore. 

He really loved this plum. He ate the whole thing (I did have to bite the skin for him but after that he was fine to munch on it himself)

He had a great day and was on the go the whole time. I'm sure he conked out when they went home but for his party he was full of energy. I will have to write about all my nephews soon.

Jasmine's 30th birthday

Hello hello! I hope you have been having a good week. So I went to Jasmine's 30th birthday a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. It was a 1920's theme which I think is one of the prettiest decades. Plus Alyssa was also there :)

It was a wonderful day with great food, good company and pretty clothes. Plus I loved that there was badminton and ring toss. You know I'm so grateful for this blogging world because I wouldn't have met Jasmine or Alyssa otherwise. Have a wonderful rest of week!

Layla-Rose First Birthday

Hello my lovelies. I hope your weekend was full of wonder and relaxation. I went to the Finders Keepers Market with Jasmine and my friend Laura. But more about that next time.

The weekend before, besides my brother's 30th birthday I had a 1st birthday party to attend as well. 

I bought this bracelet for her from Etsy :) It looks so cute on her. 

The favours were so pretty. 

These paper poufs are so popular. They are easy and cheap to make but look so pretty. 

These teeny cupcakes were delicious. 

I love making these teacup biscuits. They are delicious!

Photo booth Fun

I hope you had a great weekend. I have finally gotten my pictures from the 'photobooth' that I set up for my party. Here are a few photos. There were a lot more but I'll put them up on my Facebook (Cause I wouldn't want you to get bored).

I think photo booths are always fun. I just act all silly and don't care. Oh and some of you asked about my dress. I got it made through Erica of Sweets and Hearts. Her Etsy shop here. 

I was so happy with the result and it made me feel like I was in character (this usually helps me to loosen up a bit). I have a few more pics that I must load but I will do that next time.
