Micah's (very belated) birthday photos.

Hello hello! My nephew Micah had his 2nd birthday a few months ago and I'm only sharing his party now.

Birthday boy.

With his daddy my big bro.

Cousins!

My nephew Elijah loved this tiny skateboard.

PiƱata time.

Siblings. My nephews Caeleb and Isaiah with their sister Layla.

Octonauts cake my sister in law Gem made (Micah's mum). She has a cake business too.

Chocolate face.

Me with my name plate necklace my parents got for my birthday.

My handsome hubby.

We love celebrating birthdays in my family. It's also the time when we all get together and hang out which is one of my favourite things to do. What's better than sun, family, food and just enjoying each other's company? I will have to share Micah's story soon too :)

Have a wonderful weekend.

Elijah's 1st Birthday

Hello lovely people. I guess I went on an unintentional blog break. My poor Macbook air's power cord died and I was unable to blog for a bit. But I have a few catch up posts to do.

My youngest nephew Elijah's birthday is two days before mine. This was from his 1st birthday party and it was Sesame Street themed.

His cake that my sister in law Melly made! It was delicious. And my other sister in law Gem made the cupcakes surrounding the cake.

Elijah and his mum Melly. You can just see the biscuit he's eating in midair :)

My hair is still longish and I haven't had my fringe cut yet. I'm also wearing a vintage dress I bought from Megan's shop.

He loved licking my cup because he could taste the sweetness of the drink.

I'm not sure if my brother Alvin is having a Lion King moment here.

I love seeing babies walk around and explore.

He really loved this plum. He ate the whole thing (I did have to bite the skin for him but after that he was fine to munch on it himself)

He had a great day and was on the go the whole time. I'm sure he conked out when they went home but for his party he was full of energy. I will have to write about all my nephews soon.

Have a wonderful week.

New nephew Elijah

Hello lovely people. Thanks for all your messages and such about my birthday. It was a great day and I will do an update about it soon.

Last weekend we went up to my brother Alvin and sister in law Melly's house. We went up to meet the new baby. Plus it was a celebration for my birthday with my family.

This is Elijah Benjamin (all my nephews have biblical names). He is so little and adorable and light as a doll.

I didn't realise that he did a little face plant. I hope I didn't suffocate him.

He kind of looked at me here :) Soo clucky.

I'm such a proud aunty of 4 nephews. The boys run strong in the Landicho clan. So I think they are waiting for me to have the girl since it will be the Standen side :)

I hope you have a great week.

Some christmas joy

Well lovelies....it looks like I'm off to Bathurst tomorrow. Jason is flying me down to Sydney and then they will pick me up from there for the 3 hour drive to Bathurst. Apparently he really wants me there :p So I will have to go and pack soon. It's a 5am flight ugh! And it's my first flight by myself. I know it's only interstate but I'm a little apprehensive.

Anyway, this morning I went to my nephew Caeleb's preschool Christmas concert and graduation. He's going to be in prep next year.

There were three levels to perform today and poor little fella got a bit of stage fright and didn't want to sing.

Little Cael on stage before he went off. Sorry the photos are so fuzzy. I wasn't close enough to the stage. He's supposed to be a shepard.

But he was fine when he 'graduated' from preschool.

The little shepherd is so much happier away from the stage.

Which is so weird because he's a real little entertainer. He normally loves to sing.

Me, Cael and mum after the mini concert.

Cael with his gift from preschool (left) and his parents on the right. His preschool is part of Christian Outreach Collage which is the school that's part of our church (we have a pretty huge church).

Cael posing with another gift from my parents and I. It's a giant colouring in book. He loves to colour in. He's very creative and thinks outside of the box.

He's much happier now. This was the morning tea time. Unfortunately I couldn't really eat anything because my tummy is still sensitive. I put the little Christmas crown thing on his head.

Ok this seems kind of random but it's Caeleb's drawing. They had this alphabet book where they learn to write the letters and had to draw something that started with that letter. He drew a girl....with her bits. lol The two circles on top are the 'boobs' and he drew a 'wee' hole. He didn't say that but Liz (his mum) and I concluded it from the picture. lol. It's pretty funny though kind of embarrassing for a 4 year old to be drawing. I don't know what happened to her hair and arms.

So yes, he is very random like that. For instance for the letter F he drew a fire. Of all the things to choose. For the letter X he drew a letter C which is to represent him because his name is Caeleb Xavier. He definitely thinks outside of the box.

Anyway, I should try and pack a few things and I really hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! Take care xx

A bit more inspired

Hello all! I'm feeling a lot more creative and inspired today. Yay for that. Thanks for the advice and other comments. It's nice to see how others deal with being in a slump.

I thought I would share some photos from the past few weeks that I haven't yet. I made some of them into mosaics because there would probably be too many photos otherwise.

This is Isaiah on his 7th birthday. I had his at lunch and had to rush off to my friend Kristina's party that afternoon.

This is me and my good friend Kristina at her 23rd high tea birthday party. It was such a beautiful afternoon. She sewed those cute little flutter sleeves on that top. I hope to be able to do little changes with some of my own clothes one day.

Just a random shot from where I was sitting. It was a lovely day. The afternoon sun was beautiful and the table setting was great! She had a massage therapist there and we were all given 5 minute massages. It was heavenly. Especially because I was quite sore that day.

I loved this photo of the pink punch which was delicious by the way.

Yum! Just looking at that makes me hungry. There was some savory food as well. She and her mum made a lot of the food here. The cupcakes were made by her. That second photo was just some things on my plate. First serving of course.

Here is a dodgy photo of my present to her. It was a tea for one teapot and cup, some lovely smelling body butter and a little cupcake necklace that I put together.

This was taken on mother's day at church. I'm wearing heels in the bark covered playground. I never wear heels usually unless it's a special occasion.

My gorgeous nephews. I missed taking photos of my mum on my camera. Ooops =(

Caeleb trying to tie his own shoelaces. Jason is trying to teach him to tie them but in the end he had to tie them for poor little Cael who had some troubles.

On a different note. Here are some more note cards. I think this is going to be one of my main styles.

Here are more note cards I made for a another penpal of mine. I adore the paper.

Well I'm loving my day off work and I'm feeling quite inspired so I hope it lasts. I've bought a few winter clothes but still wanting more. Eeep! That's what I get for working in retail and a big department store. Until next time.

Hectic

It's been another hectic week. I've had exams, work, trying to see people so I can graduate! Eepp! Plus I was trying to finish off that Swap-bot swap. I've neglected penpals as I almost can't be bothered to write. Work was busy as it would be my first day was a catalogue toy sale!! Which means many customers wanting things from the catalogue and I had no idea, so I had to wing it a lot of the time. Plus being thrown into registers was pretty full on.

Anyway, one week of uni left!! One exam and a few other bits(and hopefully graduation but it all depends - long story sigh).

Thought I would show a few photos of me and my nephews. They're not great photos and I look like a dag =p

Caeleb and I were mucking around for the camera. It's so much fun being with my nephews.

Us in the yard. Just playing around. Eee! I love them so much! I guess all you mothers know what it's like to have kids. Gosh I love my little nephews!

I just had to share this one. I adore this picture.

Well, like I mentioned before I was trying to finish off my swap-bot Swap-bot book of letters swap. I sent it yesterday and this is the finished product.

This is the front and back covers. I thought I would show the pictures this way or then there would be way too many!

These are the first 4 pages. I put my little movie quotes on the other pages. They are from some of my partners favourite movies.

More of the pages. Too bigger pictures just click on the photo =)

I made the book and most of the envelopes its simple but I thought it was best to keep it that way. It was fun to do but it was probably bad timing as I had so much work to do.

Well I think that's it for now. Oh and I'm going to start making some things for my little giveaway thing =)
