Mien Moir

Hello lovely people. I'm not at work because I took a flex day. One of the benefits of working in the government.

I wanted to share an Etsy shop that I love. It's called Mien Moir. My friend Steph has just recently opened it and I'm so glad she did. It's handmade clothes for the more petite. Steph and I worked together at Myer a few years ago and we used to discuss clothes and hard it could be to find clothes that fit smaller people. She went off to work for a dressmaker (she makes wedding dresses) and I always said she should open an Etsy and sell her own clothes.

I really want to buy something from her shop soon. You must check it out. She has other photos showing examples on how to style the items. She uses beautiful fabric and each piece is so unique. Etsy restock

Hey lovelies. I've been slowly making a few new items for my Etsy shop. I thought I would stick to making mini notecards for the moment.

Of course it's butterfly related. The butterflies are stuck using sticker dots to give it a 3D effect, although you can't really tell. 

I thought I would sell them in packs of two. They will be around $3.00 and I hope to list all of them soon.

Etsy stationery

I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was quite relaxing besides one work shift. Sunday afternoon Jason I watched some movies on the lounge (Brothers and Saving Private Ryan). We haven't just sat and watched movies together in awhile and it was a really lovely to just relax.

This dress was a gift for my birthday from the lovely Micaela. I love it! 

So this isn't an outfit but I wanted to show one of my pretty little bows from Sandy a la Mode's etsy shop. I like putting pretty hair pins when I have my hair up. 

In time I would love do proper outfit posts but for now they will have to be basic ones like this :) I really admire the bloggers that can out together outfit posts. They are amazing!

A bit of happiness

Thanks so much for your comments, emails, thoughts and prayers. It swells my heart up to know so many people are thinking about us. The news for the moment is, the Brisbane CBD is slowly filling up with water from the Brisbane River. It will peak early tomorrow morning so we will see how bad the flooding is tomorrow.
