Just a Minute...in July

Image  found via This is Glamorous

Dreaming... of travelling the world and gaining new experiences

Loving... my family even when they drive me crazy sometimes =)

Thinking... about all the plans and to do's I need to complete

Wanting... to stop worrying about everything

Reading... The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards, Prom Nights from Hell by assorted authors (I always read teen books), Shop til you Drop magazine and various wedding mags

Wishing... I could figure out my letterpress and actually have something pretty to show

I got this via *this daisy who in turn found it via August Street

This is one of my Polyvore sets I made awhile ago. It reminds me of childhood dreaming when it seemed as though anything was possible. Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days when I thought I could do anything and all dreams could come true. Lately I've just been feeling so nostalgic and I've been doing a lot of reminiscing.

A really old photo from school. We were in year 9 and all about 14 years old. Even here we were all so care free. The photo is a bit fuzzy I know and my eyes are closed. I miss hanging out at lunch times at school. That was great!

Well, watch out my next post might be all about old school photos and other things =) Have a wonderful weekend everyone and thanks for all your lovely comments.

So overwhelmed!

I will wait for you

I'm so overwhelmed at the moment. Thank you for all the lovely comments! The above Polyvore set I made a few weeks ago because I was inspired by childhood innocence and dreaming.

At the moment we are looking at venues. I didn't realise how hard it is to find a place. There is this one called Boulevard Gardens. I'm making an appointment for us to check the place out after Easter.

It looks quite pretty and there would be some great photo taking scenery. But I know I need to see it in person. That's advice I've heard.

This is inside one of the reception rooms. I would like to do the decorating myself though so will have to check that when we get there. Apparently there is going to be a price rise next year though. Sigh.

Jason and I were thinking of January 2010 but haven't got exact date yet. I'm a bit scatterbrained right now because I'm thinking of so many things at the same time. Jason and I are going down to Bathurst to see some of his family. We're flying down on Friday afternoon but coming back early Sunday so that we can go to church and spend Easter with my family. I wasn't even going to go down with him but I am now.

I'm quite excited about colour themes and choosing a colour palette. Thinking maybe a pale pink, black and white. Or maybe aqua and peach. Not sure yet. If I ask Jason he doesn't mind =p

I have so many thoughts running through my head and I'm trying to calm myself down. I'm excited yet that little part of me is terrified. I'm the youngest in the family and the only girl so it's different for me. Plus I've lived at home my whole life. I keep on thinking about things and whether I should try and get another job because mine hasn't got real stability. I'm thinking about having to learn to use my letterpress (yes I can't believe I still haven't). Aahh! To many emotions. I think I'm going to drink some green tea and read.

P.S. This is not going to turn into a Wedding blog lol. I'll try not to write just about the wedding plans.

Just a bit of inspiration

I've been playing around on Polyvore for the past few days looking at sets and creating a few of my own. I've found so many inspirational collages and some of the images they use I like to find. I'm trying to make my blog more of a place where I can share more of my inspirations as well as creations and my life.

Here are some for your own viewing pleasure......

I had to add the Star Wars pic because I love the movies and I think that is such a lovely photo.

Here are the Polyvore sets that I made the past few days.

I'm off to try and finish my To Do list which is really lagging behind lately. I'm sure my next post may be about my good friend Laura's upcoming wedding.

I'm inspired but I'm not feeling creative at the moment but I do feel like creating a few Polyvore sets. These next ones are not my own creations. They are some of my recent favourites.

Polyvore sets

I haven't blogged in over a week. I didn't know what to blog about actually. Plus I had scan count at work and this week I'm helping unpack the Christmas trim!! Wow it's September!

My shop is coming along. Lol it's taking so much longer than I thought actually. But it will be done soon.

As I was saying I've been looking at Polyvore a lot. I finally decided to try and make my own sets.
I've only made two though and it's all still a work in progress.

Here's the first one

I was in a fairytale/fantasty mood. So it's sort of how I'm feeling today or really the past few days.

As it's spring now I had this urge to find a little nook to read, write and have a picnic but since I haven't found such a place yet I used the idea to inspire this next one.

I've become a bit obsessed with it now. I truly want to make more now hehe.
Have a lovely week xo
