Regional Flavours Adventure

Hello lovelies. I hope you had a good weekend. I had a great weekend. There was dinner with family then Batman on Saturday night, church on Sunday morning then Jason and I went to Regional Flavours at Southbank. It's a festival that showcases local Queensland produce and creativity with cooking. It was really wonderful.

We had breakfast at a place called Denim cafe. My favourite thing is the way they serve their hot chocolate with a tiny bottle of hot milk.

They had these wheelbarrows with different herbs. You were also allowed to pick some and take home.

I loved this stand. I bought some lovely tea and I was so tempted to buy a clear teapot and teacup.

We bought this tub of honey from a local farm.

This is my purchase from Tlicious. Some calming tea that I have started drinking at night to help me sleep and these pretty Jasmine flower balls (the reason why I wanted a clear teapot and teacup to watch it blossom). They also gave away these Kitchen Stories mini cookbook.

I wore this pretty crocheted Peter Pan collar from PeopleWebs etsy shop. It's so pretty.

One of my favourite things is when we go out and have mini adventures in the city. We are such homebodies sometimes that when we do go out I again realise how much I love Brisbane.

Have an awesome rest of week.

I know what you mean about not getting out I think it's cause were not used to the cooler weather and all we want to do is hibernate. That collar is so beautiful!

Great pictures! I love the herbs growing in the wheelbarrels. That would actually look pretty as a functional garden display! Tea is so wonderful in the winter time. I love your crocheted Peter Pan collar!

How fun! Local honey is the best. I have some every day to prevent allergy/sinus problems. And I love how they served your hot chocolate. So cute! :)
