More Etsy and other photos

I want to say thank you to those who purchased something from my Etsy and the support! It is very much appreciated! I'm hoping to keep on filling it up in the next few weeks.

Here are a few new ones.....

It's a new style which I have been working on. I want to perfect it a little bit more though. I have to make a new tiny envelope.

Those tiny butterflies in the envelopes have a hand written inspirational word on it. 'Dream, Wish, Beautiful, Hope.' I would like to make a few different series with different words on them.

I've always loved tiny little envelopes and little surprises in kids books, so I though to add them to my mini note cards.

This is a photo of my first Etsy packages being sent off. Too keep postage down I tied the note cards up but didn't wrap them in nice paper as I originally wanted to do, unless of course it's for a present....then I would wrap.

I have a few other photos I want to share.

I made up this little present for a friend who is going through a tough time. I love that journal. It's from here. But got this one from a women's church conference. I love inspirational things.

This is a work in progress wall. I bought that wall shelf from Ikea. I will be changing it around when I have a few more things.

This is my 'inspiration' string on my wall in front of my desk. It has things I love, including... a fabric button note card I made, a little note book from Ellia, a clothing tag from the Philippines, a Stephen Mackey card, an Inspirational Verse card, my own mini note card which isn't there anymore, a tiny butterfly, a tag from Anastasia, another Inspirational Verse card, my business card, and another little note book from Ellia

Anyway, I have more photos and things for next time and I hope to put those items into my Shop.  Thanks again for your lovely comments and support.

11 Things and shop announcement

Me and my older brothers in the Philippines on holiday. I was nearly 1.

I've been tagged by Anastasia to list 11 favourites. Here are my answers....
1. Clothes shop: I love to shop. Though I would have to say Myer, not because I'm biased since I work there but I do a lot of my shopping there. Though I guess it's more department store...so maybe Bardot, Sportsgirl, and Valleygirl

2. Furniture Shop: I don't really buy too much furniture but if I ever do it's Ikea

3. Sweet: Cadbury crunchie and M&M's....

4. City: Melbourne (Aus), Brisbane (Aus - I have to say it), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Manila (Just because of my filipino heritage). Unfortunately I'm not well travelled yet.

5. Drink: Lipton Peach Ice tea and Lemon Lime Bitters (I'm the same as you Anastasia lol)

6. Music: I have various favourites. Some of my fave songs lately is the Jason Mraz song 'I'm yours', Pete Murray ' Saving Grace', Regina Spektor ' The Call', Switchfoot ' This is home', The Telstra Next G song ' Sunkissed' (It's from an ad here) Listen to it here. It's so catchy!

7. TV Series: Alias, Friends and Heroes (Yay to buying season 1 & 2)

8. Film: I have a lot of faves...Narnia (both released so far), Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Ever After and Blood Diamond

9. Workout: If I ever do, it's running, stretching, Pilates and dancing

10. Pastries: Apple turnover (the same again Anastasia)

11. Coffee: Caramelatte (Gloria Jeans or my oldest brother's - with his business)

Oh and here is my announcement......

I've been hoping to do this for so long so I'm glad that I made the decision. I've been busy figuring out prices, packaging, descriptions and I just know I have to do it. I'm kind of nervous actually but oh well I think it's time to just do it.

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments and encouragement I truly appreciate it.

Oh and I'm tagging

What's inspiring me lately

Right now I'm trying to recover from being sick. I was sick for a few days so took off work. I went to work for two more days but then took today off as yesterday I felt terrible. And it was a shocker day too. 9am to 9pm. Ugh!

Anyway, I was inspired by Ellia's post. I thought I would do a similar one by listing some of the things that are inspiring me lately. They're girly things actually and such simple things.

Stationery is always on my 'inspiring me' list. This is just a sample of stationery that I have recently bought. I found this site by chance and glad I did because I adore this stationery I bought.

I love this new range from Grant Archival. The company has come together with Cristina Re to create journals, scrapbooking paper, clear stamps and other paper craft bits. I love Cristina Re paper. I bought the butterfly journal in the upper right hand corner, though it's not a blank book (which I usually prefer) I don't mind because I love it. Oh and I bought some clear stamps too.

Here's my photo of the journal and the clear stamps I bought. Oh how I adore this new range =)

I love these Momiji dolls. I see them at Borders all the time and I would love to get one. Or a few. You can put little messages in them. They're so cute and I would love to be an owner of some =)
I first saw these books in Borders. I like to browse around in the kid's book section. These books are by Anna Pignataro. They're one of those look and find books. In the first page of the Princess and fairy it has a tiny envelope with tiny letter from the queen. It's such a cute book. And I'm hoping to get them. Though it will be a mini version I think.

Eee! Minitures. I would love to get myself some sweet minitures like this. I would even like to make a little house just to deck it out with these cute things. Ohh my how adorable are these??

And this is my latest creation. Teeny tiny notes as part of my note cards. That tiny envelope will be glued onto the front of my mini note cards.

On the back of the tiny notes I'm going to hand print some type of word. Most likely more inspiring ones. This is my new idea =)
