Just a minute in...March

Image here

Thank you for all your wonderful comments!! I thought I would move away from wedding things.

Just a Minute in March....

Watching... Alice in Wonderland (hopefully this weekend...last weekend was basically impossible unless you bought the tickets online)

Reading... The Time Travelers Wife, The Picture of Dorian Gray (still haven't finished it) and 1984 (still trying to finish it)

Looking... For a new job. I think it's time for me to move on from retail. Had enough, though I will miss my awesome staff discount.

Feeling... Out of sorts...but happy

Wishing... It would stop raining (nearly 2 weeks of rain. That is a lot for us) or at least to have some cute wellies :)

Wanting... to deck out my creative space but too lazy to actually do it. Sigh.

Thinking... I would love to receive lots of mail again :) I guess I should get started on letters and other things.

Praying... For some guidance with what I should do; what career do I want? Where do I see myself?

Hoping... I will be able to cook more meals from scratch.

Loving... Being married! And being a wifey

I do want to say thank you for your beautiful words and comments as they make everything so much better.

It's weird but I feel so creatively drained at the moment and I'm at loss at what to say. Please if you have any ideas let me know in the comment section :)

I feel like I have gone through so many changes and I'm just trying to get my head around it all. Getting married, buying a house, changing my name...just trying to get used to it. I miss my family though they don't live far and I get to see them often, it's just different. But I love being with Jason and I'm really looking forward to the future.

This is a just a random side thing, but my mum commented on one of my posts and I just liked the comment.

Oh love, you have had a crazy few months, you are bound to be creatively drained.

You know what might help- running outside and dancing in the rain!! Splash in some puddles and just dance dance dance!

Oh Gracie - don't force it! You've had a massive few months... of course it will take it out of you. Just go along at your own pace, we'll all stick around! I'd love to see your forays into meals cooked from scratch! A highly enviable skill :)

The comment from your mum is SO sweet!
Join yoga...it helps, trust me. And if you don't have time, then just get dvds and do it at home. And oh, eat healthy. That gives you the most energy.

Gracie, I can only echo all of the above comments and say that I have sent a little wisdom to you via email.

Aw, you have lots going on and lots of life change happening...but in a good way I think. I totally get wanting to get out of retail, though I loved it for a while in my younger years, it is a harder thing to do for a long period.

funny how the things on your little list fall in line with some of the things on my list...creatively it doesn't always just come naturally does it. helps me to stop and really look around at the world; looking at the beauty of simple everyday things and seeing the kindness in the human spirit....then i get some inspiration....
happy to have found your blog!
xo.
