Feeling flat

Ever since the Internet went slow and we went to Bathurst, I've been at loss at what to blog about. A quick catch up on our Bathurst trip. It was freezing as I expected and one of my favourite bits was picking up potential fire wood while wearing my borrowed Angora wool jumper from Jason's brother's girlfriend. It was pretty funny that we were both wearing pretty Angora wool jumpers while picking up firewood. Why wasn't I just wearing layers and a hoodie to top it off??

Jason's dad's 50th was fun. We had about 4 fires going and had some good food. It's all so country :) Some of them tried to stay up all night but I had to get to bed but couldn't sleep for hours because the music was so loud. I can't believe I didn't really take any photos. I didn't like leaving the fire to get my camera. It was too cosy.

I had fun playing with the new born baby. It made me wish :) but I know I can wait. I get enough babies and kids at work. And it's not always good.

Anyway, I thought I would share some of my journal, book and mail related wants. I went on a mini Etsy shopping spree for some supplies and such.

These are actually journals that look like books. There are 9 in the O-Check collection and I'd love to collection them all and have them displayed somewhere.

That is a tiny library check out card. It's adorable and it's a necklace.

I bought these 2 book locket charms. I can't wait until I can create something with it.

This is a mail organiser.

I would also use it to carry around letters and stationery when I'm on the go.

I would love to buy this pattern for a journal clutch.

So my Moleskines will have a special home in my bag.

Another gorgeously cute book necklace.

And a tiny book charm too. Absolute swoon!

A little love letter envelope pouch.

This is really just too sweet!

And a teeny tiny leather journal necklace! Eeeee!

I definitely think I want this. Imagine when you have an idea, you can just jot it down on your necklace (although there would need to be a tiny pencil or something too).

Anyway that's just a sample of things I would love to get. I had a thought about what I can do for a blog post yay!

Have a wonderful rest of weekend.

Bathhurst sounds great! I'm glad Jason's Dad's 50th was a hit. Collecting firewood in Angora wool jumpers makes me laugh!

You know Gracie, you shouldn't go posting anything stationery related on your blog - don't you know how dangerous it is for my wallet?! :P I love the journals that look like books.

Ah book necklaces are so cute!
I sometimes feel that way when around babies too... haha. And I'm only 18 :D
Glad you had such a great time away but yeah, getting out of routine sometimes does disrupt blogging. Now you've for the first post-holiday post out of the way it'll be easy!

:)
