Inspiration on a rainy day

It's rainy and chilly today. I'm so glad I'm at home. Today I rung up Victoria Park to confirm our booking for our wedding ceremony and reception. Feels great to have that sorted. Now I'm doing a lot of daydreaming and planning. I didn't want all my posts to be about the upcoming wedding but really I can't help it. So I'm sure there are going to be many more wedding posts.

I thought to make another flickr mosaic of favourites and what's inspiring in my thinking and planning. I'm in the midst of making a wedding mood board.

For some reason I'm struggling with theme and colours. I guess you can tell from my flickr mosaics and other pictures that I post what I'm drawn too so I know these are some weird irrational feelings I have. I just need to find my theme and stick to it. Especially because I'm wanting to letter press the invitations and have to get a move on with trying out how to use it properly.

Dreamy

On Saturday Jason and I checked out the Boulevard Gardens and it was lovely. We might still have a look around but it seems like a pretty awesome place.

I've been feeling quite nostalgic lately and thought to share an old school photo. It's from my highschool graduation in 2002. I think I will be sharing more of these photos as times go by. 

Hello Rain

This morning I got locked in my bedroom by accident. The door would not open from the inside. It freaked me out but I'm so thankful my brother was here when it happened. He doesn't even live at home anymore, but comes down from the coast about once a week. So I would hate to think what I would have had to do if he wasn't home. 

Yesterday it was absolutely pouring down with rain all day. It was quite relaxing actually. It made me think about umbrellas and rain boots. So here is some flickr mosaics dedicated to umbrellas and rain boots.

I wasn't really going for a theme but pink seemed to stand out. I really want to get one of those clear umbrellas.

Jason knows how obsessed I am with rain boots (or gum boots as they are frequently called here). There isn't really a reason for me to purchase a pair since we are not in frequent rain or cold weather here but I just love them! I think I will one day.

Being Organised

I was hoping to try and organise myself this year. I'm sick of being a procrastinator, but right now I'm feeling a bit ugh...I called in sick the last few days at work. I'm in the children's shoe section working as a shoe fitter for back to school. It's tiring. And if your a parent you know what it's like.

Anyway, I thought to look for some lovely flickr photos about organising. Or just some pretty and cute ideas, I would like to incorporate.

I'm slowly cleaning and organising, but since I haven't been feeling well I've been sitting in front of the tv watching Alias, my all time favourite tv show, while making some envelopes. It's very relaxing.
