Six Confessions

Via Tumblr

I saw this via Nicole's blog and thought I would do this too. Here are six confessions :) (of a sort)

1. I'm a memory hoarder. I keep all notes, cards, letters and other little bits. I store them in boxes or stick them in my journals.

2. When I was in year 8 a few friends and I had a crush on this guy in year 12 . I wrote him a note (from us) and gave it to him in front of his friends on their graduation day.

3. I used to talk to myself a lot when I was a child. I was a dreamer and thought out loud a lot. I guess that's why I turned to journalling later on in life.

4. My first celebrity crush (that I remember) is Hanson. I loved them so much in year 7 (I was 12) that I wrote an assignment on them in one of my exams.

5. I've been on and off with my body image for as long as I can remember. I spend too much time comparing myself to other girls.

6. I used to pray for thick black, straight hair when I was younger. I hated having fine dark brown wavy,  sometime frizzy hair. I used to tell my mum that I would dye it when I got older and my mum said I would learn to appreciate my hair colour when I was older. She was right.

Have a wonderful week!

hello fellow hoarder, wonderful blog you have here! :)
it took me ten minutes after reading you post to realise but i have the dreaded naturally thick, straight, black hair. it's not fun. in fact it's pretty boring. i wish for waviness or browness all the time!

let's see...
1) me too:)
2) that is precious and im sure any guy getting a note from you would have been blown away!
3) i did too! and yes, journaling has helped so much. even though i still have to admit to people at times when they ask me who im talking to, that im just talking to myself. haha weirdo ;)
4)i never fell into the hanson phase. that just means that now im going through my bieber fever phase and i'm 24...:)
5) girl! you are one of the most gorgeous girls i've ever seen. not to mention your heart is bigger than most everyone's out there:)
6) if only i would learn to love my frizzy brown hair:)
love you hun. thanks for doing this i enjoyed reading it!

I loved this!! I might have do a similar post sometime soon! :) I also keep lots of notes, cards, letters and other mementos; it's finding the place to put them all that can be somewhat difficult!

you have always seemed real to me though - thanks for being that way, friend. :)

Much to my husband's dismay, I keep things like that too! :)
I can't believe you were brave enough to give that guy a letter! I wish I was more like that then... I was so shy around guys I had crushes on. So ridiculous looking back now!

Loved reading your confessions and I must admit confrontin a guy infront of his friends takes a lot of courage ..I did that way back in high school too and lucky me , I got married to him :))
and I so agree with you on #1 ..

Awww I love number 2! that's so cute. I still talk to myself, it's a really bad habit I do. At work, even at home by myself.

Totally agreee with the Hanson confession! Taylor was my dream man, hehe. And I do the same thing, I compare myself with others since I was a kid. Not fun!
