This is pretty

This is just a quick post to say I really love this idea....

It's decorated photo albums with pretty paper. I know I will have to use this idea for the townhouse. It reminds me of a row of gorgeous journals or those beautiful hardcover Penguin Classics.

I really want to get the Alice in Wonderland book, but it's never at Borders.

Actually it was at Borders once when it got restocked and Jason's like 'You're going to buy it full price?' Because I always get vouchers sent out to me via email....Sigh but it wasn't there next time.

Anyway, I'm getting myself all psyched up for my midnight shift tonight. I start at 12:30pm and work until 12:15am....It's torture after working a 12 hour shift yesterday. And then having to work at 10:15 tomorrow.

I wish I was at home with some books, a journal and some snacks instead though :( I will be stocking up on lollies and chocolate for under the counter eats with my work mates :) We have a lolly break every hour I think.

Again, I may not post before Christmas so I hope it's wonderful!!

ooohh... lovely journals! I wish mine were that pretty... surely they aren't... lol. I don't even have much journals, tsk. But this is a great idea I might just need to buy some and put it on my empty shelf, lol

Covering books with a pretty wallpaper is always a wonderful idea, so much so that I do it, too with my journals! Have a lovely holiday, my dear!

i love love love love books, esp antique hardcover books with their fraying fabrics, loose spines, and crispy yellow pages. they smell lovely as well. :)

i walked into a store recently for my friend's xmas present and walked out with 2 books for myself, hahaha.

Merry Christmas to you! Or belated Merry Christmas at this time. :)

Those books are gorgeous...but they would be something I'd put on the shelf and admire instead of reading.

& The wallpapering is an awesome idea...it's like a book covering that's naturally pretty. I think I should do that with my textbooks now....

P.S. Thanks for the reply! Hope your midnight shift wasn't too bad.

Hey there lady, I hope you had an incredible holiday! I would love to be able to showcase a wall of gorgeous books like that with built in bookcases. Sigh. One of these days!

I'm going to have to get around to covering some books with paper like in that picture :) I always have the same problem with the Alice In Wonderland hardcover books never being at Borders. They must be popular. Hope you had a lovely Christmas miss :)
