Townhouse photos

Thank you all for your wonderful comments! They keep me going in this busy time. I promise I will start replying soon!

I thought my hours might go down a bit after Christmas but they went up instead :( I'm working 48.5 hours and 6 days in a row. Sigh I really sometimes hate that I'm a trained kids shoe fitter (this is for back to school shoes - I don't know how many of you had to wear a uniform at school but everyone in Australia does). This is just as bad as Boxing day. Except you have to handle kids feet (sometimes dirty and smelly) and some truly awful mothers.

The only way I'm getting through this is to see the hours and money as a blessing because we really need the extra cash. So maybe it's really a blessing in disguise??

Anyway, some of you asked for pictures of the townhouse. The only pictures I can use are the ones from the real estate website.

Keep in mind though that I think it looks much better in person. These aren't professional photos.

This is the front door and garage. Welcome!

The lounge room/living area. I've already starting thinking about how this will be decorated.

The backyard. This is only a part of it. There's a whole other section on the side. Definitely big enough to have people over for a summer BBQ.

The little kitchen. It's the perfect size for us though.

The main bedroom. The rooms were a little smaller than some of the other places we looked at back the extras and location are just too good.

The little bathroom/ensuite. There's another bathroom and there's a toilet downstairs.

One of the spare bedrooms. There's another bedroom too.

This is the complex pool. It's only about 20m away from our townhouse so it's very convenient. Perfect for the summertime.

So that's it! Hopefully when we can start moving our things in I will be able to take better pictures. But this won't be until at least the 18th January. I've tried to start packing amongst doing everything else. Dad bought me some of those plastic tubs with lids and wheels to put things into.

You know what, nothing has truly hit me yet. It's like my brain can't comprehend that in 37 days! I will be getting married and will have my first home! Jason feels the same. We are spending so much time having to organise everything with wedding, with house, with getting a loan....we just haven't had time for the news to really sink in....not sure when that will happen though.

Anyway, I have to get back to it and savour my day off (though it will be a busy one). Have a beautiful weekend!!

Congrates so much!

This must be so exciting!

I hope your wedding goes well.

I haven't thought about marriage or buying a first house yet...prolly for another 7 years or so.

Hey...having lots of hours at work is better than having not enough (like me! hello shopping ban - sob).
At least, like you said, you have money coming in. Cheer up! :)

Your backyard is gorgeous. Seriously, it is. The rest of the house looks beautiful too. & It'll look even better after you decorate because (as seen from previous posts) you are quite creative.

Happy Weekend! Good luck with the kids--it must suck to have to deal with way overly protective parents who go along with their children, but they're always grateful afterwards. :)

P.S. Do you mind if we have a Newsreel post congratulating you on your wedding on the day of?

the house looks so beautiful and cosy, gracie! loveloveLOVE it. yes, think of the extra moolah you'll get because of the extra hours. it'll be worth the sweat and hopefully not-so-smelly feet.

school kids here in malaysia wear uniforms, too! only, buying shoes were pretty simple as the parents usually know what size their kid wears.
