Get organised

I know I was going to do another lot of tagged questions but I thought I should put a different post in between. (P.S. I do recommend you all see Blood Diamond if you haven't already).

At the moment I'm thinking about our week of cleaning, organising and being creative. I'm making a list (of course) with everything that needs to be done in that week. I'm also playing around with my new site but I won't be moving until I have everything all worked out. Jason is helping me with all the technical aspects and design.

So anyway, I thought I would share my creative space and the mess it is in. I figure if I show you what it looks like at the moment, it will inspire me to organise and decorate it. Plus it will keep me accountable to you all.

My bookshelves. I would like to add one more.

The side of my desk. The actual desk is quite messy.

Part of the floor. There is a wedding dress in that white garment bag and it's not mine. I was meant to get my dress and Melly's dress dry cleaned but still haven't done it yet.

The wardrobe in that room. It's also an overflow of my clothes. Mainly my dresses.

So, that's what it looks like but here's some inspiration I've found via Designsponge.

I would like good organisation, personalisation and some colour. Too much of this house is monochrome.

I will get back to making my lists, getting inspiration and reading. Have a wonderful weekend!

Great office inspiration. I love that last one with the print on the wall.

You'll do a great job of organizing and will end up with some fabulous spaces, I'm sure of it!

Have a fabulous weekend.

Oh no, now I feel terrible! When I hear other people say how messy their room is I automatically assume it's as messy as mine. Your room is spotless in comparison to the state my room is currently in :/ Haha, oh dear. I think I should do some cleaning this weekend and stop putting it off for other more 'important' things (like anything other than cleaning!).

I love it all! :D My room's definitely too tiny to be able to have awesome organization like that. I try, but I'm definitely limited in space. :(

I don't think what you've got going on qualifies as "a mess"--haha! Looks mighty fine to me! It's so interesting to look at inspiring spaces . . . half makes me feel hopeful about what my apartment could look like, and a little bashful about what it actually DOES look like!

I love the idea of being totally organized. I'm hoping to acquire something like that someday...

In other news we just got Blood Diamond in the mail yesterday from Netflix. I waited to watch it until tonight or this weekend sometime. Looking forward to it and glad you recommended it after it arrived! It must be good!

Design Sponge certainly is one of the best places for inspiration isn't it!

Your bookcases look far more organised than mine already. Will look forward to seeing the finished results.
