Thoughts for the week

I change my mind a lot with posts. Hopefully the next one will be mail related and announce the giveaway winner, which I've already drawn :)

These are a few of my thoughts for the week...
I will be always be a child when it comes to Christmas. The excitement I feel when I see decorations, lights and Christmas trees is evident by my girly squeals and smiles.
I really need to invest in better work shoes or I may not be able to walk after Christmas.
Mail and putting together packages really does make me happy.
I adore that Jason won us a free dinner and a free night at the Marriott hotel just by buying some raffles tickets at an work awards lunch today.
I hate 9-9 work shifts.

I would love to get this pink Filofax for next year's diary.
I should learn to take better care of my GHD so it doesn't die on me.
I need to learn to be more organised instead of letting my mail build up
For Christmas this year, I will make a point to try and buy more handmade items for everyone.
When it's gloomy, rainy weather I like to sit in the dark instead of turning on a light. It calms me.
Sometimes I squeal when I see tiny baby clothes which make me want to have a baby, but then I read some women's birth stories and it makes me never want to have kids.

Who wouldn't want to receive a teeny tiny package or teeny tiny letter. I should send a few of these out to some pen pals one day :) I sent one to Jason once. It's absolutely adorable!

Next post I will talk about mail and the giveaway winner :) have a fantastic weekend!

I love Christmas too! I haven't visited the Christmas sections of Myer of DJ's yet, because I know I'll want to buy lots of decorations! My Mum bought me two lovely baubles today - so exciting!

Diana Ferrari has adorable sequined black ballet flats (25% off at Myer at the moment - with your extra discount, they'd practically be free, haha) that are really comfortable, and support your feet better than most ballet flats I've tried.

Wow, free dinner and stay at the Marriott! Lucky!

I'm the same with baby stuff. I get so excited, then I look at how much my sister is struggling and I realise it's not as cute as it all originally seems!

I hope you're enjoying your three days off!

Sorry for the long comment!

x Jasmine

I am exactly the same when it comes to Christmas! It's such a peaceful and beautiful time of the year.
When I see the first Christmas decorations of the year, I squeel too and pop in some Christmas music when I get home.

I think GHDs are unbreakable, mine has been dropped many times and still keeps rocking. fingers crossed :)

so hoping your tiny letter makes it through the mail!

Gracie! I agree about 9-9 shifts! That sounds so tiring! And you are so cute squealing for baby clothes! :)

And about birth stories, whenever you are planning or thinking about planning or already expecting, you MUST read Ina May's Guide to Childbirth. The whole first half is natural birth stories, and it reminds us of how we were built to give birth, to trust our bodies, etc. They are truly inspiring and take the fear out of it... as much as reading can :)

Lovely weekend to you!

ARGH, I used to work 9-9 shifts! They are brutal aren't they? I always worked them after student night (wednesdays) in Newcastle and I would get home at 6am...then 9-9 shift. I feel your pain..hungover or not hungover.

9-9 work shifts? oy. that's intense :/

i just went to my friend's baby shower and was excited to see all the cute things she got! ohh i love all the little baby things...little converse sneakers and hair bows. hehe. but yeah, i just hate the idea of giving birth. O_o ouch.

also: thanks so much for ordering something from my shop! that was a nice surprise. i'll be sure to add a few little extras too to make it extra sweet.
