Happy 2013

Hello lovely people. I trust you had a wonderful beginning to the New Year. Mine has been half and half. For New Years Eve we had a small BBQ at our place. We were supposed to have more people but they weren't able to make it. So it became a more intimate gathering.

1. I set the table really simply by grabbing various candles from around the house
2. A little close up of my make shift vase with little mushroom sticks
3. I love candle light
4. Sparklers after midnight
5. My lovely Laura (it's a shame I left those beach towels in the background)

We had a BBQ dinner then decided to go watch The Hobbit. It was the second time Jason and I saw the movie. When it finished it was around 11:30 so it wasn't long until the new year. We popped a few party poppers and lit some sparklers and welcomed in the new year.

I hope you all had a great start to the year. My next post will be a few of my goals and plans for the year.

Happy New Year!
Your candle table looks lovely!
We had a lovely Christmas time with a lot of snow, but ugly rain on New Year Eve. - Let's hope that the rest of the year will be better! :)

Happy new year lovely lady! So far this year I have cracked my iphone screen and spilt my drink bottle all through my handbag - I hope its not a sign of things to come.
I love simple NYE events, I think the whole night can be a little overrated.

Looks beautiful! Happy New Year Girl! Hope this year is starting off well for you. :)

P.S. So sorry how long it's taken to write you back. Life has been sooo busy and haven't found the time to send you a letter. With the start of the new year and the busy months that have ended I'm hoping to get back on track with writing letters. I can't remember if I ever said thanks, so thank you, dear. :)Hope you're well. :)

Happy 2013! I'm getting back into blogging in the new year, and am excited to start reading your posts again. I love the idea of a NYE barbecue -- if I lived in a warmer climate, I'd totally borrow that idea next year. Yours looks lovely!
